MASALA CORN FRIES

PREPARATION TIME: 30 minutes
COOKING TIME:25-30 minutes
SERVE:3-4 persons
INGREDIENTS:
  • 2 Corn
  • 1 & 1/2 tbsp Corn flour
  • 1 tbsp All-purpose flour
  • Salt to taste
  • Water as required
  • Ingredients for masala mixture:
  • 2 tsp Chaat masala
  • 1 & 1/2 tsp Black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 2 tsp Red chili powder
  • 2 tsp Cumin powder
  • 1 & 1/2 tsp Garlic powder


DIRECTIONS:
  1. Take a corn, cut into two halves then insert toothpick according to the length of your corn.
  2. Push it from one side and separate them from corn.
  3. In a bowl mix chaat masala, black pepper, salt, red chili powder, cumin powder and garlic powder.
  4. Method one:
  5. Marinate the corn fries in it for 15 to 20 minutes by keeping them in refrigerator.
  6. In a pan heat oil and deep fry the marinated corn.
  7. Sprinkle some mixed masala on top and serve.
  8. Method two:
  9. Steam the corn fries in a steamer for 3 to 4 minutes.
  10. Then drizzle butter, prepared masala and some lemon on top and serve.
